Start-up
6.1
Connection
Before initial start-up, the
Lub-O-Mat
must be installed as part of the system as a whole.
The power supply 230 V/50 Hz is provided via the main switch.
The empty signal connector for the suction lance is connected directly to the metering pump
(3-pin plug) of the
Lub-O-Mat
). Connector configuration: see the operating
manual for the EMP II E60 metering pump, article no. 417101339.
6.2
Cleaning of conveyor-track lubrication system
•
Before the start-up of the system, all components have to be rinsed with hot water (most
effective by hot water) as the system has to be cleaned from left particles of the
mechanical treating.
•
For the cleaning of the pipe-system it has to be removed 1 nozzle per bar. In this way
optimum conditions of the flow can be reached and nozzles as well as ball-valve filters are
protected against dirt.
•
Before starting the filling-system (facility) we recommend a base-cleaning of the
conveyors. Dirty conveyors can cause problems during the start-up of the lubrication
system and a risk of wearing at the chains and slide-bars especially with dry-lubrication
systems.
•
At change of belt lubricant we recommend a base-cleaning of the complete system.
