4.1.1 Required and optional sensors
Temperature sensors used with the UA 410 D may be either required or optional depending on the set controller
type and operating mode. If required sensors are not connected, alarm is always generated in a sensor break.
With optional sensors, alarm is only generated when the sensors are included in sensor scan. Sensor scan
takes place automatically on first start of the controller. The number of scanned sensors can be checked under
menu item 6-1 or with the PC software LDSWin. In this way unconnected sensors can removed from the monito­
ring.
