Controller type
The UA 410 D case controller for refrigeration points with thermostatic expansion valves (TEV) combines the
following 3 controller types.
Controller type
Application
Case controller
UA 111 X
Corresponds largely to the existing UA 111 D (UA 400) controller for multitasks without defrost
heater, but has a second zone for roll-in display cabinets and different temperature sensorgrou
ping (8 for supply air, 2 for return air).
UA 111 XP
Corresponds largely to the UA 111 (UA 400) controller for multidecks without defrost heater, but
has a different temperature sensor grouping (8 for supply air, 2 for return air) and the capa-bility of
controlling a refrigeration pack equipped with up to 3 compressors as a function ofpressure.
Coldroom control
ler
UR 141
Corresponds largely to the UR 141 TK and UR 141 NK (UA 400) controllers for coldrooms, buthas
one zone 1 for low-temperature refrigeration and one zone 2 for normal-temperature coo-ling.
For definition of the basic control behaviour, only one controller type can always be selected that is set using the
DIP switch S3.

Operation of the controller with a unsupported DIP switch setting is not allowed. In the case of any
setting of coding switch combinations that are not present in the list, UA 410 L is automatically ap
plied as controller type and an alarm signal is created.
In the event of change of the controller type, all parameters are reset to their factory settings.
For further information, see chapter 5.4 - Controller type setting.
Selection of controller type defines the controller properties and basic controller settings.
The UA410 D case controller can be operated by:
‐ Host computer e.g. via network / modem with connection to the system centre / store computer,
‐ the system centre, a store computer or an operator terminal,
‐ a local operator interface BT 300 via the DISPLAY interface on the controller or
‐ a notebook (PC) with the PC-software LDSWin connected via USB.
