11.1. Conformity
The device conforms with the EU Directives according to the EU Declaration of Conformity.
11.2. Standards
The applied standards, which verify conformity with the EU Directives, can be found on the EU-Type Examination
Certificate and / or the EU Declaration of Conformity.
11.3. Operating conditions
NOTE!
If.used.outside,.the.device.may.be.exposed.to.direct.sunlight.and.temperature.fluctuations.which.may.
cause.malfunctions.or.leaks.
• If the device is used outdoors, do not expose it unprotected to the weather conditions.
• Ensure that the permitted ambient temperature does not exceed the maximum value or drop below the minimum value.
Environmental temperature
The permitted temperature range is given on the type label of the device.
Degree of protection
IP 65 / IP 67* according to EN 60529
(only if cables, plugs and sockets have been connected correctly)
* If the device is used under IP 67 conditions, the ventilation filter (see
“Figure 1: Structure, Type EP 501” must be removed and the exhaust air
conducted into the dry area.
