EFX48 Operation using the navigation switch and display
Navigation switch Access Security
This feature prevents accidental or unauthorized changes to settings from the navigation
switch.
All access to change an EFX48's settings will be lost if:
•
HTTP/SNMP user account details are lost
•
Navigation switch access PIN is lost.
The EFX48 will continue to function, but no configuration changes can be made. If this
occurs contact your Eaton DC product supplier or Eaton for advice (see Worldwide
Support on page 161).

To use the EFX48 when access is PIN protected
•
From any display page press and hold
enter
. Wait for the Pass Code page to appear then
release the enter key.
•
Use the
left
and
right
keys to access each digit position of the PIN. Use the
up
and
down
keys to change the digits.
•
When the correct digits are entered, press
enter
.
Keypad access will return to PIN protected mode after a period of approximately 1
minute of inactivity on the navigation switch.
