6.3. Restrictions
(1) Programming unit
The address for Code Flash1/2 and User Boot Flash is programmed in unit of 256 Byte from 256
Byte boundaries. The address for Data Flash is programmed in unit of 16 Byte from 16 Byte
boundaries.
Data in the buffer memory are programmed in about the short part of 256Byte or 16Byte by the
data setting of the object file.
Make sure to initialize the buffer memory before downloading the object file.
To initialize the buffer memory, execute buffer clear [FUNC 2].
When you embed specified data other than 0xFF in the part smaller than the boundary of each
programming unit, use the block store function [FUNC1] after buffer clear.
(2) Verify mode
Regardless of verify mode setting [FUNC 99], FULL read verify is executed on the area set
against the target of object file programming.
The address to be verified is only the address executed programming.
When executing FULL verify of the object file programming mode setting area, the programmer
reads the data programmed from the microcomputer and compare it with the buffer memory
value.
An error occurs when you set read inhibition at security setting.
(3) When loading object files repeatedly
When you load object files repeatedly after buffer clear, the loaded data is effective until next
buffer clear or copy is executed (while current file name is registered). However, when you
download the files in the same address, the data loaded at last is effective in the address.
