Press keys (
▲
+
▼
) to terminate this function.
–
The display shows "SP" again.
Press the
▲
key twice to switch back to operation for
maintenance.
NOTICE
If a value is transmitted that cannot be displayed in the format
specified for the calibration gas unit in question (see page 29)
(e. g. "2000" ppm), the display will show either "¯ ¯ ¯" as "value too
large" or "_
_ _" as "value too small".
If the display is configurable, the
▲
or
▼
keys can be used to set
the next possible configurable value (e. g. "999" ppm) and to save
this changed value to the gas transmitter.
If no change in the value is required, the (
▲
+
▼
) keys can be used
to return back to the previous menu without saving values.
NOTICE
The factory-set calibration gas concentration is specified on the con-
figuration label of the gas transmitter. If a different calibration gas
concentration is used, this changed calibration gas concentration
should be entered on the configuration label. The recommended cal-
ibration gas concentration is 40 to 60 % of the full-scale deflection.
Configuration menu
To access the configuration menu, press the
▼
key for a duration
of more than 3 seconds until "MG" appears on the display (after
the display has gone past "ZE").
The gas transmitter is switched to the special condition maintenance
(and outputs the configured maintenance signal).
NOTICE
If either the SIL lock "Parameterisation" or the SIL lock
"Parameterisation & calibration" of the gas transmitter is configured
to "on", no change is possible, only a display of the configured
parameters!
NOTICE
Each library substance of the gas transmitter is uniquely
characterised by a 3-digit number ("GasCode"). This "GasCode" is
shown on the remote access box display to display the measured
gas configured on the gas transmitter as well as the calibration
gases available for selection.
The "translation table" is available from the manufacturer on request.
NOTICE
When the timeout period of approx. 4 minutes is exceeded,
"TMO" (TiMeOut) flashes on the display for approx. 60 seconds.
The remote access box switches back to operation for maintenance.
If one of the two keys is pressed within this period of approx.
60 seconds, the timeout status is lifted, and the display changes to
the last menu option used.
