To use the FOMA terminal overseas, check
the following in Japan.

Subscription

Check the subscription of WORLD
WING. For details, contact "General
Inquiries" on the last page of this
manual.

Charging
･
Using the FOMA terminal overseas may
consume the battery more quickly than
in Japan.

Usage charge
･
Overseas usage charges (call and
packet communication) differ from those
in Japan.
･
Some FOMA terminals and applications
automatically perform communications.
Your packet communication charges
may be higher even in Japan. For
operation status of each application,
please check it to the application
provider.
Network service settings
If you subscribe to network services, you can
use network services such as Voice Mail
Service, Call Forwarding Service, Caller ID
Notification Service, etc., even overseas.
However, some network services cannot be
used.

To use network services overseas, you need
to set "Remote access" to activate. You can
set "Remote access" in the country you stay.
･
Even if the setting/canceling operation is
available, some network services cannot be
used depending on overseas
telecommunications carriers.
