PRESSURE CALIBRATION PROCEDURE FOR PRESSURE MYOGRAPH 114P
1. Connect the Pressure Interface with the Pressure Myograph.
2. Connect the Big Ben Pressure Manometer to the 3-way valve at P1 on the Pressure Myograph as
illustrated in figure 3.2.
3. Inside the Pressure Myograph chamber, on the right hand side, is a small stainless steel pipe, which is
connected to the right glass cannula via a small silicone tube “B”, see figure 3.3. Carefully disconnect
the silicone tube from the stainless steel pipe.
4. Carefully disconnect the silicone tube “A” between the “outlet connecting pipe” and the “outlet
pressure transducer connecting pipe”, see figure 3.3.
5. Mount the enclosed calibration shunt (resistance tube) to the outlet connecting pipe “A” and the
stainless steel pipe “B” as illustrated in figure 3.4.
