When you are navigating within the configuration menus (in offline mode),
several of the control panel keys have specialized functions, as follows:
•
UP – Press this key to move up to a higher level in the menus. If
“CONFIG.CONTROL/Load Config.” displays, pressing UP will move
back up to the OFFLINE/CONFIG.CONTROL main menu option.
•
DOWN – Press this key to move down to a lower level in the menus. If
“OFFLINE/CONFIG.CONTROL” displays, press DOWN to display the
CONFIG. CONTROL submenu options (Load Config., Save Config.,
Print Config., etc.).
•
NEXT – Press this key to move forward through the options at the
same level within a menu. If “OFFLINE/CONFIG.CONTROL”
displays, press NEXT to move forwards within the main menu
selections (ACTIVE EMULATION, EMULATION, MAINT/MISC,
etc.).
•
PREV – Press this key to move backwards through the options at the
same level within a menu. If “OFFLINE/CONFIG.CONTROL” displays,
press NEXT to move backwards within the main menu selections
(DIAGNOSTICS, PRINTER CONTROL, etc.).
•
CLEAR – Press this key to return from anywhere within the configuration
menus to the top of the main menu, i.e. “OFFLINE/CONFIG. CONTROL.
•
R/S – Press this key to start and stop printer tests. (The ENTER key handles
the same function.)
