EVFU Select
The Electronic Vertical Format Unit (EVFU) allows you to set vertical tabs
for slewing. Enable is the default.
Alt. Set 80–9F
This feature determines whether the printer processes ASCII codes 80h
through 9Fh as control codes or as printable characters.
Character Set
You can specify IBM PC, Multinational, ECMA Latin 1, DEC Multinational,
OCR–A, or OCR–B as the character set. As Figure 4–9 shows, several
language and special character set choices are available as submenu options
under IBM PC, ECMA Latin 1, and DEC Multinational. IBM PC, Primary
Subset, ASCII (USA) is the default character set.
