Using a Diskette Drive
Diskette drives read information from removable diskettes. One diskette drive is located
to the left of the removable-media mass storage compartment, below the CDROM drive.
The diskette drive components are shown in Figure 4–3.
To insert a diskette into a diskette drive:
1.
Set the write-protect switch (

in the figure) on the diskette to either the write-
protected or write-enabled position.
2.
Insert the diskette as shown in the figure.
The activity indicator (

in the figure) lights when the system reads the diskette.
