About This Guide
Purpose and Audience
This guide describes how to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain your AlphaServer
1000 Rackmount system. This information is intended for users, system managers, and
others who perform system management tasks.
Before You Use This Guide
If you have not already installed your system, refer to the installation sheet shipped with
the system.
Some procedures in this guide refer you to your operating system documentation. You
will use your operating system documentation along with this guide.
