The GPS must give the waypoint of take off to the VL100 (as defined by
competition organisation) such that the take off coordinate will be considered as
the centre of the Start Pylon. VL100 will manages the navigation from the launch
to the Start Pylon waypoint for a given radius as defined by the pre-set value in par.

Example of procedure to initialise SP1 navigation:
1. do this before take off
2. switch on VL100 and check the start in NAV submenu for SPRA and SPMO
parameters
3. make sure that VL100 doesn’t have any waypoint kept in memory (waypoint
name memory = NOWP), on the contrary it must be cancelled (see waypoint
cancellation)
4. switch on and activate the GPS with GOTO the take off waypoint (NOT IN
ROUTE MODE)
5. wait for the lighting of the VL100 direction indicator’s arrows
