To download the data of flight into PC, we need connecting cable (PC-Cable
or FlashPro 100), software for DOS or Windows (see it in: www.digifly.com)
and PC with serial gate Rs232.
If your PC hasn’t this connection, you can use a “USB to Rs232 cable”
converter. Control the available COM gate (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ecc) before to shape
it into the programs to execute later.
From the multifunction display, press
key to enter in the menu, then press
or
keys to go to LINK submenu. Pressing the
key, the message DIGI
appears; now the instrument awaits a request for data communication from
the PC. The instrument emits a sound at at the start/end of data transmission.
At any time is possible to abort the communication by pressing the
key. To
exit from the LINK submenu press the
key; after beep, press the
key
again.
To record the polar of the aircraft set up the recorder sampling rate at the value of
1 second (parameter n. 34
of
submenu). In order to set the sampling
rate: from the multifunction display, use a long pression on the
key to enter in
the menu, then press the
or
keys to go to SET submenu. Pressing the
key
and the
or
keys, go to the parameter 34 RECR (settable from 1 to 60 seconds
and initially setted on the value 3). Pressing the
key, the value will be flashing.
Thanks the
or
keys, choose the value 1, then press the
key to memorize the
value. To come back at multifunction display, press
key; after beep, press the
key again. Recorded data are then transfered to a PC using an
(optional) and a
(optional) that allows to analize and view the
polar, and to download to the Vl100 mathematical coefficient concerning the
selected polar
