Deleting or resetting facilities
Turning off /
confirming alarm
calls
When an alarm is due, you will receive an alarm call
and the display will show the following message. If you are
currently making a call, you will receive a short ring signal and the display message when you hang up.
The alarm is signalled by three short rings and can be turned off and confirmed as described below. An
alarm which has not been confirmed is shown on your telephone’s display up to midnight when-ever it is in
the idle state. At midnight it will be turned off automatically.
To confirm the visual and acoustic alarm signal, proceed as follows:

Call up the menu
and enter the code numbers,
or press the programmed key.
r
Conclude the procedure.
If two alarm calls are waiting at the same time, you can confirm the displayed alarms by pressing the allo-
cated key twice.

Note: The “confirm alarm” key can be programmed as described in example 1.1 on page D-4. If you
have programmed a key with a flag symbol, the arrow assigned to the key blinks to indicate that an
alarm is due.
Deleting
alarms
If you wish to delete an alarm which is not yet due, or one which has not been confirmed:
r
Call up the menu
and enter the code numbers,
or press the programmed key.
C
If necessary, browse on to next
alarm.
E
Delete the alarm displayed.
If necessary, browse on and repeat or ...
r
... conclude the procedure.

Note: The “delete alarm” key can be programmed as described in example 2 on page D-5. If the faci-
lity is assigned to a key, you can also press the corresponding key several times to browse through the
alarms.
