Please note that your telephone can also be equipped with further call keys which are not shown in this
example. The call keys whose telephone numbers are assigned to the respective telephone are displayed
shaded in the above diagram.

Calls made to your telephone number are indicated acoustically and visually by the LED to your
INTERNAL
key (I)
. At the same time, the call is indicated on the
MULTIPLE-INTERNAL keys (MI)
of the other team
members. This enables them to answer calls for you and to stand in for you (and vice versa). If you do not
want an acoustic call signal (ring) for MULTIPLE-INTERNAL keys (MI) on your telephone, use the “ring signal
to key” facility or “deputy/delegation function” (cf. pages C-27/C-28) to switch it on or off as required.
Please note: Active facilities (e.g. call diversion) for your telephone number(s) also affect call signalling to the
MI keys of the other team members.
If you wish to make an internal or external call, press the INTERNAL key to access an internal line and
immediately dial the internal number, or access an external line by first dialling the trunk (external) line
access code (this sets your telephone number status to “busy”). You can also use a MULTIPLE-INTERNAL key
(MI) to make a call. However, this also sets the corresponding team partners’ telephone number status to
“busy”.

If you wish to call another team member directly, simply press the appropriate
PARTNER key (P)
. The LED on
the respective key shows whether the line is free or busy. You can, however, call the team member even if
the respective telephone is busy.
