Follow me
Service menu
Enabling
”follow me“
on your
telephone
“Follow me” is a special form of call diversion. This function allows you to select call diversion from the desti-
nation telephone. (You can re-route any incoming calls for your telephone to the telephone where you
happen to be).
First you must have enabled “follow me” on your own telephone. You can then receive your calls on any
telephone. Various settings are available:
- You can enable “follow me” generally for your telephone (all INTERNAL/EXTERNAL keys on your phone).
- You can enable “follow me” for individual INTERNAL/EXTERNAL keys (cf. page C-33)
- When activating “follow me” on the destination telephone, you can choose whether internal, external or
all calls are to be forwarded.
- As a special case, a fixed “follow me” can be installed between two telephones. In this case, “follow me”
does not have to be enabled for that telephone.
Please note: If call diversion was already active on the telephone from which you wish to fetch the calls:
(cf. page C-21), this is disabled when “follow me” is set up. The ”follow me“ setting can be disabled using
any telephone involved.
