- Verificare se c’è buona scintilla, cioè,
se mediante il cavo d’alta tensione
che è collegato alla candela arriva la
corrente elettrica necessaria per pro-
durre la scintilla tra i due elettrodi della
candela.
- Estrarre la candela e collegarla
all’insieme pipetta-candela. Premere
saldamente la candela contro il moto-
re, premere il pulsante di avviamento
con la chiave d’accensione nella posi-
zione
!
e, se il sistema d’accensione
funziona in modo corretto, scatterà
una scintilla azzurra tra gli elettrodi
della candela. Se non c’è scintilla,
consultare un Servizio Ufficiale
DERBI.
Se si realizzano queste piccole verifi-
che, si risolverà il problema nella mag-
gior parte dei casi.
Avviso!
Quando si fa questa verifica, cercare
di non mettere la candela vicino al suo
foro poiché il vapore di benzina
dell’interno del cilindro potrebbe accen-
dersi e creare il rischio di incendio. Fare
il controllo facendo massa sulla testata.
The fuse is to be found in the battery
compartment, after first removing the
three saddle body securing screws.
- Check that the vehicle has a good
spark: in other words, if sufficient elec-
tric current reaches the spark plug
along the high tension cable so as to
cause a spark between the electrodes
of the plug. Undo the spark plug, and
fit the spark plug cap on it again. Hold
the plug firmly against the engine,
press the starter button with the igni-
tion key in position ", and if the ignition
system is operating correctly, a blue
spark should be seen to jump across
the gap between the electrodes of the
spark plug. If there is no spark, take
the scooter to your Official DERBI Ser-
vice Agent.
By making these simple checks, you
will be able to solve the problem in the
great majority of cases.
Caution!
When carrying out this check, be
careful not to place the spark plug too
close to its seating hole, since the petrol

DERBI-Servicestelle.
Durch diese einfachen Überprüfungen
kann das Problem in den meisten Fällen
beseitigt werden.
Vorsicht!
Achten Sie darauf, bei dieser
Überprüfung die Zündkerze nicht zu nah
an das Zündkerzenloch zu bringen, da
sich der aus dem Zylinderinneren
aufsteigende Benzindampf entzünden
könnte. Brandgefahr! Stellen Sie für
diese Überprüfung eine
Masseverbindung mit dem Zylinderkopf
her.
