If you removed the system board to replace the battery, reinstall the board
now. See "Blade System Board" on page 276.

Close the blade. See "Closing the Blade" on page 161.

Install the blade. See "Installing a Blade" on page 158.

Enter the System Setup program to confirm that the battery is operating
properly. See "Using the System Setup Program" in your
User's Guide
.

Enter the correct time and date in the System Setup program's
Time
and
Date
fields.

Exit the System Setup program.

To test the newly installed battery, remove the blade for at least an hour.

After an hour, reinstall the blade.

Enter the System Setup program and if the time and date are still
incorrect, see "Getting Help" on page 361 for instructions about obtaining
technical assistance.
