Adding Excluded Addresses
To exclude an address:
1 Open the Network Properties page.
2 Click Add Excluded Addresses to display the Add Excluded Addresses
page.
3 In the From field, enter the first IP address to exclude from any configured
address pool.

If the address in the From field is the only address to exclude, or if the
excluded addresses are non-contiguous, leave the To field as the default
value of 0.0.0.0. Otherwise, enter the last IP address to excluded from a
contiguous range of IP addresses.
In Figure 31-3, the From field contains the IP address 192.168.2.1, and the
To field contains the IP address 192.168.2.5. This means that the following
IP addresses are not available for lease:
• 192.168.2.1
• 192.168.2.2
• 192.168.2.3
• 192.168.2.4
• 192.168.2.5

5 Click Apply .
