9.1.1.2 Obtaining PPK licenses
For high accuracy photogrammetry (PPK, Post-Processed Kinematics), a commercial license is required.
1
Contact your Delair distributor or sales representative.
2
Select the appropriate license package among those proposed.
3
You can view and check the status of your PPK licenses on MyDelair (
), the
Delair community platform.
9.1.2
Importing, visualising and processing data
9.1.2.1 Importing the images from the UX11
To import images, prepare the following:
• Windows 10, 64-bit desktop computer with the
Delair After Flight
application installed.
• UX11 aircraft fuselage
• USB cable
• The computer must be connected to the Internet in order to retrieve or update PPK licenses
for that aircraft. Since PPK licenses are stored on the computer, the Internet connection is only
needed – for a given aircraft - when its PPK license is created or updated.
Procedure:
1
Open the transport bag and place the aircraft fuselage upside down on your desk.
2
Connect the computer to the USB-C connector of the aircraft (using a USB cable).
Windows 10 recognizes the aircraft as an external drive. An icon or a message may be shown on
the computer screen.
3
Launch the
Delair After Flight
application.
4
Click
File
>
Open flight
.
A pop-up window allowing to choose a directory is shown.
Note
Alternately, if the user prefers copying files locally (using the Windows File Explorer to navigate the
external drive, select folders, copy them locally on the computer), the
Delair After Flight
application
also supports opening a regular folder. It is also possible to drag and drop a flight folder directly onto
the map area to trigger its import.
5
Browse to the aircraft drive. You can see whether or not it contains acquisition data, with the title
of the flights, their date and number of images. Select a directory and click
Open
.
The imported flight(s) appear(s) on the left panel of the application. Each flight is automatically
given a different color, which is used on the map view and also on relevant pop-up windows, so
that you always know which dataset you are currently handling.
The metadata are automatically loaded by the software. A progress bar is shown during this
process. Position of images are shown on the map as the metadata are loaded.
