Preparing a mission
5.1 Creating a mission
Before you begin
• The
Delair Flight Deck
software must be installed on the tablet.
• The tablet must be switched on and connected to the internet.

Tap the
Delair Flight Deck
icon on the tablet.
The home screen is shown.

Enter a name for the mission.

Optionally, in
Notes
, you can enter additional information about the mission.

The mission opens in the
Scope
tab.
5.2 Setting flight areas and no-fly zones
You can now set the scope of the mission. You can define:
• the area(s) to be surveyed (area where picture will be taken)
• (optionally) no-fly zones. These are zones that must not be overflown by the UX11 aircraft.

Type the name of the area where you want to survey in the search box.
The name can be a place name, a full address or latitude/longitude coordinates.
The map view jumps to the desired location.

Enter a name for the area.

Creating a polygon

Tap on the map to set each boundary point of the area.

DONE
.
The area of interest is calculated and shown in blue on the screen.
5.2.2
Editing a polygon
You can edit a polygon as follows:
• To resize or reshape the polygon, tap and drag boundary points on the map.
• To add a boundary point, tap the edge of the polygon.
