3.4 The "My missions" screen
This screen list all your missions, and for each mission, all its flights. The application distinguishes two
key concepts:
• Mission:
A mission is defined by its areas of interest and possibly a few no-fly zones (areas over which
the aircraft is forbidden to fly). Areas and no-fly zones can be hand-drawn or imported from
KML files.
• Flight:
A mission may contain as many flights as you want. A flight is defined by its actual settings
(given area within a mission, wind direction, GSD, etc.) Each flight in Delair Flight Deck has a
state, which can take one of the following values:
State
Description
Pending
The flight is still being edited and all necessary information has not yet been
entered.
Ready
The flight is fully prepared and ready to be performed. You can prepare going to
the field and launching your aircraft.
Flown
After the aircraft landed, the flight is considered completed and marked as flown.
Flown flights are read-only and cannot be edited. They can be copied however as a
baseline for another similar flight.
