17.3 Operation with radio remote control
The Tera Dust Control Unit can be equipped with radio
remote control on frequency 433 Mhz.
The maximum range extends to ca. 100 meters
depending on the environment.
This is an Icarus RX/TX MINI system; the original user
manual will be supplied once it is built in.
PLEASE READ IT TO ENSURE PROPER USE!!
The displayed hand-held transmitter is part of the
delivery.
Configure end point for automatic swiveling:
•
Put the TERA in MANUAL operation.
•
Set the central point of the swivel range using
buttons 5 and 6.
•
Put the machine in AUTOmatic operation by
pushing first button 5 and then button 6
shortly after each other (within 1,5 sec).
Once again 5 and 6 shortly after each other
puts the machine back in MANUAL mode.
•
Buttons 5 and 6 can now be used to increase
or decrease the swivel angle. The central point
will remain the same. Adjusting comes in
steps: so the button has to be pressed several
times in succession
When
adjusting,
the
angle
will
decrease/increase on the left as well as the
right-hand side.
Keep the remote control in its clip holster!
Set the standby OFF (slide switch on the back-side of the
transmitter) to extend the usage tim.

0 Stand-by ON / OFF (slide switch)
1 ON
2 OFF
3 swivel UPWARDS (both positions)
4. swivel DOWNWARDS (both positions)
5 swivel to the RIGHT (clockwise)
6 swivel to the LEFT (counter-clockwise)
5+6 shortly after each other: AUTO swivel ON
5+6 once again: AUTO swivel OFF
Automatic operation:
5 INCREASE swivel range left/right
6 REDUCE swivel range left/right
