WARNING: Switch off the printer handling on the button
mounted on the rear panel of the printer and disconnect the
spindle from the feeding plug.
As previously explained in paragraph 8, please proceed with the following operation
by keeping the printer with:
•
Cover open
•
Lifted printhead
•
Remove the cartridge and paper not installed
The operator will then be free to execute the following operation:
14.1 PRINTHEAD CLEANING
Take a cotton swab wet with iso-
propylic alcohol and pass it
under the printhead to eliminate
all the carbon residuals due to
printout, as indicated in picture
36 on your left. Note that the
printing quality also depends on
a good printhead cleaning.
