Triangular Feet and Tent Pins
Figure 45: Triangular Foot and Tent Pin
The triangular feet are used together with the tent pins to secure the Q-Series on soft sur-
faces.
To fasten the Q-Series using tent pins:
(1) Screw the triangle feet into the Q-Series tripod legs.
(2) Insert the tent pins through the holes in the feet.
NOTE
Remove the triangular feet before packing the Q-Series.
Suction Cups
Intended use: Smooth and clean surfaces in calm to windy weather conditions. Typical sur-
faces are car rooftops. Temperature range: -10°C to +60°C (+14°F to +140°F)
Figure 46: Suction Cups
The suction cups shall be screwed into the mounting holes in the tripod legs. To fasten the
cups, screw them into the threaded holes on the case and leg bottom side.
NOTE
Clean the deployment surface before using the suction cups. The surface must be
free from dirt, dust, oil, grease, and water.
The Q-Series with suction cups is fastened to the surface by pushing down the lever on each
cup. On tilted surfaces, it is recommended as a safety measure to secure the Q-Series with a
strap to any immobile object present.
To release the Q-Series, pull up the lever on each suction cup.
NOTE
Remove the suction cups before packing the Q-Series.
