4. Carefully detach the waveguides from the Circular Polarizer. While holding the OMT/polarizer,
gently pull the waveguide to create a small gap (approximately 1 mm) between waveguide and
OMT/polarizer.
5. Rotate the Circular Polarizer by 180° to the correct position (Right Hand or Left Hand).
6. Using the four (4) screws re-attach the Feedhorn to the Circular Polarizer.
7. Using the four (4) screws re-attach the waveguide to the Circular Polarizer.
8. Using the eight (8) screws, re-attach the waveguide to the RF Filter.
9. Using the eight (8) screws, re-attach the waveguide to the BUC.
Changing Ka-band Circular Polarization
Prerequisites
Find a clean working environment that will not pollute the RF components.
Make sure that the Power Supply is disconnected from the source.
To switch between Left Hand Circular Polarization (LHCP) and Right Hand Circular Polariza-
tion (RHCP), disconnect and rotate the OMT/polarizer on the Q-Series.

Disconnect the power to the Q-Seriesto avoid any damages to the equipment.
