Cleaning and replacement

Replace hydraulic oil periodically.
If the oil is used without replacement for a long period, it has bad
influences on operation and service life of the hydraulic unit.

Oil cooler
・
Cleaning of core
Once / year
Disassemble and clean the oil cooler and the core according to
“13.4 Oil cooler maintenance procedure” .
●
Oil filling port
(Air breather)
Once / year
Disassemble and clean the oil filling port (air breather) according
to “13.5 Oil filling port (air breather) maintenance procedure”.
●
Suction strainer
Once / year
Disassemble and clean the suction strainer according to “13.6
Suction strainer maintenance procedure”.
DANGER
Please do not approach and touch the rotating parts.
When you touch the controller inside part, in order to prevent electric shock, please observe the following
procedures.
i)
Please turn off the main power of the hydraulic unit.
Please turn off the main power of the controller. (Please turn off the breaker of the entire machine’s power
supply circuit.) In order to prevent malfunction, please hung an operation prohibition caution tag, such as
"operation disabled (work in progress)", on the power supply breaker.
ii) Remove the lid of the controller after
turning OFF the power supply 5 minutes or more.
Because the large-capacity capacitor is installed in the controller, there is a risk of electric shock if the capacitor
is charged. Please make sure that 5 minutes or more (the time it takes to discharge in the capacitor) have passed.
Before turn on the power to operate, please make sure all the covers are mounted.
When you touch the noise filter inside part, in order to prevent electric shock, please observe the following
procedures.
i)
Please turn off the main power of the hydraulic unit.
Please turn off the main power of the controller. (Please turn off the breaker of the entire machine’s power
supply circuit.) In order to prevent malfunction, please hung an operation prohibition caution tag, such as
"operation disabled (work in progress)", on the power supply breaker.
ii) Remove the lid of the controller after
turning OFF the power supply 5 minutes or more.

Please attach covers to the controller terminals before turning ON the power.
