ADS-B OUT function

After being informed of ADS-B OUT failure either by XPDR1 ADS-B FAIL message or
by Air Traffic Control, it is possible to disable ADS-B OUT function by selecting
transponder 2 (if installed).
>> Airplane equipped with two extended squitter transponders
ADS-B OUT data can be transmitted from any transponder upon pilot selection.
If the transponder 1 [2] detects any internal fault or failure with the ADS-B OUT
functionality, XPDR1 ADS-B FAIL [XPDR2 ADS-B FAIL] message will be displayed.
After being informed of ADS-B OUT failure either by XPDR1 ADS-B FAIL
[XPDR2 ADS-B FAIL] message or by Air Traffic Control, it is possible to restore
ADS-B OUT function by selecting transponder 2 [1].

Handling, servicing and maintenance
Operation of ADS-B OUT function does not change the basic handling, servicing and
maintenance of the airplane described in section 8 Handling, servicing and
maintenance of the basic POH.
