4.2.2 INSTALLATION

•

Make sure that the gears of the primary and sec-
ondary pumps and the thrust block are installed
in the correct direction.

1. Install the retainer ring and the snap ring to the front

cover. Then, install the primary pump body aligning
it to the dowel pin (1) of the front cover.

2. Install the thrust block with its seal and backup ring

toward the front cover.

3. Install the driven gear and the drive gear shaft.
