(C) Speed Control Plate and Start Spring
1. Remove the speed control plate and the governor
spring on it.
(When reassembling)
•Be careful not to drop the governor springs 1,2 into
the gear case.
•Apply a liquid gasket both side of speed control
plate gasket.
(D) Start Spring
1. Remove the start spring (1) from the fork lever 1
( 2 ) .
(When reassembling)
•Be careful not to drop the start spring into the gear
c a s e .
•Hook the start spring so that the longer hook is on
the fork lever side.

( E ) Fan Drive Pulley
1. Install the stopper to the flywheel so that the
crankshaft may not turn.
2. Flatten the metal lock and loosen the crankshaft
n u t .
3. Remove the pulley.
(1) Fan drive pulley
(2) Crankshaft nut
14.0 to 16.0kgf
