From the
Switch Configuration
page, you can control the broadcast, multicast, and unicast storm recovery feature and
IEEE 802.3x flow control feature settings for the switch.
IEEE 802.3x flow control works by pausing a port when the port becomes oversubscribed and dropping all traffic for small
bursts of time during the congestion condition. This can lead to high-priority and/or network control traffic loss. When 802.3x
flow control is enabled, lower speed switches can communicate with higher speed switches by requesting that the higher
speed switch refrains from sending packets. Transmissions are temporarily halted to prevent buffer overflows.
To display the Switch Configuration page, click
LAN >Administration > Switch Configuration
in the navigation tree.

If you want the switch to retain the new values across a power cycle, you must perform a configuration
save, but the System Time does not need a save to retain the new values across a power cycle.
