Configuring Differentiated Services for VoIP

Go to the 

LAN > QoS > Differentiated Services > DiffServ Configuration

 page and enable DiffServ for the switch.

Go to the 

LAN > QoS > Differentiated Services > Class Configuration

 page, select Create from the Class Selector

field, enter class_voip in the Class Name field, select All as the Class Type, and then click 

Submit

.

Select IPv4 as the Class Layer 3 Protocol, and then click 

Submit

.

Select Protocol from the Class Match Selector menu, and then click 

Add Match Criteria

.

Select UDP from the Protocol Keyword menu, and then click 

Submit

.

8

Create a second DiffServ classifier named class_ef and define a single match criterion to detect a DiffServ code point
(DSCP) of ef (expedited forwarding). 

This handles incoming traffic that was previously marked as expedited elsewhere in the network.
