WEIGHT AND BALANCE
If the Two-Switch Elevator Trim System was installed at
the factory, it is included in the licensed weight and
balance information in section 6 of the Pilot’s Operating
Handbook. If it was retrofitted to the aircraft, the
installation instructions provided by Cub Crafters will
have the appropriate weight information that should be
included in section 6 of the Pilot’s Operating Handbook
9.5.8
DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
The Two-Switch Elevator Trim System allows either
occupant to operate the elevator trim. There is a selector
switch on the left wing root panel (Figure 2) that has three
positions,

FRONT
•
OFF
•
REAR
When the selector switch is in the FRONT position, the
system is biased in such a way that operation by the
forward occupant will override any operation by the aft
occupant.
