Inspection
•
Check the front wheel and
axle nut for damage or
looseness.
•
Check the wheel splines for
damage or wear.
•
Check the rubber dampers
for the anti-sway bar for
damage or wear.
5. Steering wheel feels loose
and moves up and down .
• Check whether the steering
wheel clip has loosened or is
damaged.
• Check if the steering column
clip or attachment seat are
damaged or have loosened.
•
Check the steering column
bottom end bearing for
damage.
•
Check that the gas spring
is holding column in
position.
6. Front wheel turns excessive.
• Check if the tie rod and
steering column locknut has
loosened or is damaged.
• Check if the steering knuckle
loosened or is damaged.
•
Check the tie rods and ball
joints for damage.
7. Front wheel sway during
driving.
• Check for damage to the
steering knuckle bearing.
•
Check if the ball joint is
damaged.
• Check if the front wheel axle
nut is loose or damaged.
•
Check the front wheel
splines for damage or
wear.
•
Check the rubber dampers
on the anti-sway bar for
damage or wear.
8. Rear wheel noise during
driving.
•
Check if the rear axle
bearing is damaged.
•
Check if the sliding bearing
connected to the rear axle
bearing housing and rocker
is damaged or has loosened.
•
Check if the rear wheel axle
nut has loosened or is
damaged.
•
Check the rear wheel splines
for damage or wear.
• Check if the rubber dampers
connected to the rear swing
arms are damaged or worn.
9. Wheel Hop during driving.
• Check the rim for damage or
deformity.
•
Check for a bent front or rear
axle.
• Check the tires for bulging or
wear.
10. Shock absorber became
soft.
•
Check for overloading.
• Check for damage to the
shock spring.
•
Check for leakage of shock
fluid.
