Establishing a Connection
When RoomView opens, a grid of rooms and attributes are displayed. If no
connection is established with a control system, all the status fields display
as shown below.
To establish an individual room connection, right-click a room and select
Connect
from the submenu.
To connect all rooms, select
Connect All Rooms
from the
File
menu.
Alternatively, you can set system preferences to establish connections
automatically at startup. To do this, click
Preferences
on the
Edit
menu, go to
the
General
tab and select the
Connect rooms when database opens
check box.
There is also a check box on the Login window for the same purpose.
