QuickMedia™ Receiver/Processor Crestron
QM-RMCRX
If <
RecallMixerPreset
> goes high and <
MixerPreset#
> is set to an invalid or 0
value (out of the 1 to 10 range) all mixing levels will be set to mute. This is the
same as recalling a preset in which every mixing level is set to -800.
In addition to the five mixer presets, the QM-RMCRX provides ten mic EQ
presets for the Mic1 and Mic2 inputs, where a Mic EQ preset is the set of all
eight <
MicEQTrim
> values. As described earlier, the mic EQ is applied before
the final mix.
The <
MicEQTrim
> inputs adjust the gains of each mic input. The gains are
adjustable within a range of -10dB to 10dB; valid analog values range from -100
(-10dB) to 100 (10dB).
A <
MicEQTrim
> value of 0 (0dB) means that the signal will pass unaffected.
Values above and below 0 will boost or reduce the gain in increments of .1dB.
That is, changing the analog value by 1 signifies a boost or attenuation of .1
decibels.
When <
SaveMicEQPreset
> is driven high, the current mic EQ trim values will
be saved in the indicated <
MicEQPreset#
>. Valid values for <
MicEQPreset#
>
range from 1 to 10.
Similarly, when <
RecallMicEQPreset
> is driven high, the mic EQ trim values
stored in <
MicEQPreset#
> will be recalled and immediately propagated to the
outputs. Here the <
F
> feedback signals may have different values than their
corresponding inputs.
If <
RecallMicEQPreset
> goes high and <
MicEQPreset#
> is set to an invalid
or 0 value (out of the 1 to 10 range) all mic EQ trims will be set to default
values, and all signals will pass unaffected. This is the same as recalling a preset
in which every mic EQ trim is set to 0.
Slot 8: C2I-RX-GENAUDIO
The built-in general audio controls module is located in slot 08 of the QM-
RMCRX QuickMedia control system, and controls volume, treble, bass and
mute functions.
The QM-RMC/RX provides four independent audio inputs (via the Cat5 QM
port): Program Left, Program Right, Mic1 and Mic2. The onboard mixer can
mix any audio input into any of the three independent audio outputs: Program
Left, Program Right and Speech Audio (Mic Mix Out).
The <
ProgVol
> and the <
MicMixVol
> inputs range from 0% to 100%. The
<
MicMixTreble
>, <
MicMixbass
>, <
ProgTreble
>, and <
ProgBass
> inputs set
the bass and treble relative to 50%. That is, 50% indicates a neutral, or "flat"
level for the treble and bass. The treble and bass settings are applied equally to
the left and right program audio outputs.
NOTE:
Mic tone settings apply equally to both microphones.
