12.8.1 

If necessary, use a funnel to add new oil to the powerhead through the CCV oil separator until  

   

you get to the applicable oil level.

12.9.0 

Remove the funnel and make sure that you do not spill oil on the outboard and working area.

12.10.0 

Install and lock the dipstick.

12.11.0 

Attach the CCV separator cap and make sure that you hear a click.

12.12.0 

Clean all remaining oil in the area where you have been working.

12.13.0 

Put an oil tray with a minimum volume of 2.5 L below the transmission oil drain plug.

Remove and stow the transmission vent plug.

Remove and stow the transmission oil drain plug.

Put transmission gear oil (2.5 L) into the transmission housing through the transmission oil

Make sure the oil level in the CCV oil separator does not read the top or oil will enter the compressor 

intake pipes.
