FUEL SYSTEM INSTALLATION
If you are not sure about the correct type of hose to use, refer to your classification
specifications or speak with your Cox servicing agent.
8.9.0
Attach the applicable hose clamps and torque to the manufacturer’s specification(s). It will
make sure that no air can enter into the system.
8.10.0
Make sure that the full length of the hose is:
8.10.1
Supported safely at regular intervals.
8.10.2
Clear of unwanted heat source and all structures that can possibly cause damage.
8.10.3
Does not have bends tighter than the minimum allowable radius (0.1 m or hose
manufacturer’s specification if available).
8.11.0
Look for the quick connect (refer to Figure 8.10) fittings on the outboard end of each pipe and
attach the quick connects (031164) into the opposite outboard connection.

8.11.1
Make sure that you put the hose joiner between the plastic and rubber pipes into the
appropriate locations of the rigging grommet.
NOTE
The hoses in this assembly are 3 m long
