8.10 - Cleaning the condensate
conveyor siphon
1. - With the appliance on, open a domestic hot water tap
fully so that the burner runs at maximum power and
the level of liquid inside the siphon tank “D” (Figure 64)
lowers;
2. - Remove the burner fan unit (section 8.4);
3. - Remove the servomotor (section 8.14);
4. - Cover the electric system and pump unit with a cloth to
protect them from any water residue inside the siphon
to be removed;
5. - Slide support “C” outwards from the holding support
(Figure 62);
6. - Slide tank “D” downwards carefully as it is full of
condensate water which could leak (Figure 63);
7. - Extract the siphon by moving it outwards (Figure 63)
taking care to disconnect the collection pipes for the
water coming from the upper part of the appliance and
from the air vent valve;
8. - Clean the decanting tank “D” (Figure 64);
9. - Refit everything in reverse order, making sure gasket
“E” is put back in the relevant place and that end “G” is
correctly positioned correctly in “H”;
10. - Restore the level of liquid inside the siphon (section
6.1.2);
