8.6 - Correctly positioning the ignition
and detection electrodes
When not otherwise specified, refer to Figure 57.
1. - Check the distance between ignition electrodes “A” and
“B” must be between 2.0 and 2.5 mm;
2. - Check the distance of the ignition electrodes "A" and
"B" from the surface of the burner must be between 5
and 5.5 mm;
3. - Check the distance of the detection electrodes "C" from
the surface of the burner must be between 5.5 mm
and 6.5 mm;

8.7 - Dismantling the ignition and
detection electrodes
When not otherwise specified, refer to Figure 58.
1. - Disassemble the electrodes to be replaced “B” or “E” by
means of screws “A” or “D”;
2. - Remove seals “C” and “F”;
3. - Assemble the new electrodes with the new gaskets “C”
and “F” supplied with the replacement kits;
4. - Check the electrodes are in the correct position (section
8.6);
5. - Restore the state of the appliance by reassembling
everything in the reverse order to that used for the
dismantling phases;
6. - Power up the appliance and open the gas supply;
7. - Switch on the appliance;
8. - Check for any gas leaks using the relevant tools;

WARNING!!! Perform the gas leak test using a
leak detection fluid only. The use of naked flames is
prohibited.
