6 - START-UP
6.4 - Conversion of the appliance from
one type of gas to another
a
WARNING!!! Read these instructions carefully
before changing the gas:
- The gas appliance must be installed, calibrated or
modified by qualified installer in compliance with
the law;
- Check and be certain that the type of gas which
is powering the appliance is compatible with the
adjustment kit in your possession;
- Do not supply the appliance with a type of gas other
than those specified.
1. - Switch on the appliance;
2. - Access the “installer” profile (section 7.16);
3. - Set parameter
2138
to the value shown in the table
(Figure 45);
4. - Turn off electricity to the appliance and close the gas
supply;
5. - Remove the casing from the appliance (section 8.3);
6. - Remove the air manifold "C" (Figure 40) making sure to
rotate it outwards and then slide it out of the fan inlet;
7. - Remove the gas inlet pipe using the two fittings "H" and
"L" (Figure 40);
8. - Remove clamp spring “M” from seat “N” releasing valve
“P” (Figure 41);
9. - Slide gas valve “P” up and out;
10. - Replace gas nozzle “R” (Figure 43) with the size
indicated in the table (Figure 45) under "Gas nozzle
diameter”;
11. - Refit the gas valve "P" (Figure 41), making sure to
reposition spring “M”;
12. - Refit the gas supply pipe via the two fittings "H" and
"L" (Figure 40);
13. - Refit the air manifold "C" (Figure 40);
14. - Power up the appliance and open the gas supply;
15. - Switch on the appliance;
16. - Check for any gas leaks using the relevant tools;

WARNING!!! Perform the gas leak test using a
leak detection fluid only. The use of naked flames is
prohibited.
