Host computer interface
If any call billing software is interfaced with DX, all the call billing information will be sent
to the computer through serial port. All the handshaking packets that are required for
interfacing, call billing software will send (for various handshaking packets, refer DX CTI
Manual). Nothing is required to be set within the DX.
Sometimes, it is required to send the call data again to call billing software or sometimes it is
required to stop the sending of the call details to the CBS. If it is required, than following
commands will be required.
126
-
Start sending the Call details to the CBS.
127
-
Stop sending the Call details to the CBS.
128
-
Re-start sending to CBS
125
-
This code is reserved and is used only for factory testing.
Note : If the HMS / CBS are integrated with DX, there is no need to set the above
commands. HMS power on message i.e. “%H$” sets the desired commands automatically.
For complete details for HMS integration, refer the HMS/PMS interface manual.
Host Always Ready
If a call billing software is integrated with DX, DX will send all the call details to the call
billing software. DX expects the acknowledgement of each & every call also from the HOST
(Call Billing Software). If host is not sending the acknowledgement of the call, DX will not
send the next call packet to the host. (For details, refer DX CTI Manual)
But sometimes, due to some reason, Host can not send the acknowledgement of the call. Host
waits for the call details without sending the ack for the call. So in such a case, DX is
supposed to send the calls information without waiting for the call acknowledgement.
So if DX is supposed to send the calls without the ack of the calls, `Host always ready’
should be enabled. The command is,
25 8 X
25 8 0 Send the data to serial port only on request
25 8 1 Don’t wait for Call Acknowledgement.
Default : 25 80
