WARNING:
Never attempt to fold the Trekker Chair with a user in it.
This could result in serious injury.
WARNING:
Do not place user in the chair until you have verified that the folding
action is properly locked.
WARNING:
Although the Trekker Chair can be folded into a single compact unit with
the seating module installed, it is possible that the seating module can become detached
fromthe mobility base while in transport. When loaded into a vehicle always be sure
that the seating module assembly and frame are properly secured.
WARNING:
Do not allow children near the chair while folding
to avoid possible pinch points.
WARNING:
Risk of pinching. Be careful of possible pinch
points when folding or collapsing the chair.
WARNING:
Make sure tilt is returned to upright position before folding.

Folding the Chair
The Trekker Chair can be folded into a compact mode that is ideal for
transport and storage. The frame will fold with or without the seating
module installed. Folding action may be limited when Positioning
equipment installed.
Folding Instructions with seating module in place:
1.
Adjust the push handle downward.

2. Fold the seat back forward by pulling on the recline cord and
pushing the seat back forward.

3. Pull back on folding triggers

until the frame unlocks.
4. Push forward and then down on push handle.

5. Resistance will be felt when chair is folded to its limit. Do not
force chair to fold further. To further reduce the folded size, the
rear wheels can be removed. The wheel lock lever must be
disengaged to allow removal of wheels. The chair is now ready
for transport or storage.

6. Secure folding strap on the side of the chair to keep base
closed while transferring or lifting.
