Data Transfer to a Higher Level
This section describes how to send data that are obtained through PLC communication to cloud
system or similar. The basic specification of the data transfer function are realized by creating a file
and sending it with stored data.
The CONPROSYS has the following methods for data transfer.
- File transfer with HTTP/HTTPS (CONTEC original function)
- Data transfer to Azure IoT Hub
- By FTP
- Using optional services of "HULFT IoT" or "Fujitsu IoT" for instance.
There are three transfer services within the CONTEC original HTTP/HTTPS function.
1.
Data Transfer Service
A function to record the CONPROSYS interface information (digital input, analog input, digital
output, etc.) and transfer it on a one-minute cycle.
2.
PLC Data Transfer Service
A function to create a file per "Device configuration" of the PLC setting and send data.
3.
Data Transfer with CONPROSYS VTC (Task edit)
A function to create a free-style file and output it with the information obtained through PLC
communication and more.
This guide is a technical guide for PLC communication, therefore, (2) and (3) are explained here.
To avoid trouble, it is recommended that the [1. Data Transfer Service] should be disabled.

From Setting menu, go to Service and select the "Disable" on the Data Transfer Service.
