Setting Examples with GX Works3 in FX5U series or similar
The following is a communication setting procedure when using the FX5U series.
As for the M2M Gateway Settings, the same procedure described in the previous section MELSEC-Q
series (Ethernet port of the CPU Unit) can be applied here as well.
1.
On the "GX Works3", go to "Parameter" - "Unit Parameter", then open the "Ethernet Port" screen.

On the "Unit parameter Ethernet Port", go to "Basic Setting" - "Own Node Settings", and the
setting contents of IP address and Communication Code can be viewed. Follow the setting
details described below.

Click the "Detailed Setting" in the "External Device Configuration", and the setting contents of
the communication methods and ports can be viewed.
