Description
1
Device Name
Decide a device name.
0 to 32 of one-byte alphanumeric letters, [_] underline, and [-] hyphen.
The name cannot be set with only numbers.
2
Target CPU Name
The set CPU name is displayed. Select CPU name for Device configuration.
3
Device Type
Select the type of device you would like to access.
4
Start Address
Specify Start address of the device to access in decimal.
5
End Address
Specify End address of the device to access in decimal.
6
Modbus Address
*1
Specify the memory address (Head address) to assign the PLC access
information in decimal. 0 - 9999
When “0” is set, it is assigned to Modbus address H2000.
7
Read/Write
Specify access method. Selectable from ”Read”, ”Write”, ”TriggerRead”,
”TriggerWrite”, and “EventWrite”.
Read: Obtain memory information such as PLC according to the scan
interval and set it in Modbus memory.
Write: Write Modbus memory information into such as PLC according to the
scan interval.
TriggerRead: In this mode, the read timing can be specified using the task
function (VTC) of CONPROSYS. The Read information is set in
the specified Modbus memory.
TriggerWrite: In this mode, the write timing can be specified using the task
function (VTC) of CONPROSYS. A command to write the
specified Modbus memory information is issued.
EventWrite: When the value of the specified Modbus memory changes,
a command to write Modbus memory information is issued.
*
The Modbus memory here indicates the memory area of the Modbus Address specified in (6).
8
Scan Interval (msec)
Specify an interval (msec) of communication with PLC.
The shortest scan interval is 100 milliseconds.
9
Data Type *2
Select the data type when creating a cloud transfer file.
(signed /unsigned , 32-bit data, etc.,)
10
Cloud Key
*2, *3
Set Cloud Key to record in the file when transferring data to cloud. For more
details on this, refer to "3.Data Transfer to a Higher Level" in the next
chapter, "How to Use Collected Data".
11
Cloud Interval (msec)
*2, *3
Specify an interval (sec) when transferring data to cloud.
*1 When configuring more than one device setting, set a Modbus address respectively.
Specify the head address for Modbus address. Modbus areas for the number of access devices are occupied.
*2 This is the setting for using Cloud service (CDS2) that is provided by the CONTEC. It sets the function to
file-output the read information per device setting.
If you send data to CDS2 by using task function (VTC), this setting is unnecessary.
*3 Completing the settings in 10 and 11 activates the function to file-output the read information per device.
If you not use this function, do not configure the settings.
