Setting Examples with MELSEC-Q series Ethernet Unit
The following is a setting procedure when using the MELSEC-Q series Ethernet Unit (QJ71E1-100).
As for the M2M Gateway Settings, the same procedure described in the previous section, MELSEC-Q
series (Ethernet port of the CPU Unit), can be applied here as well.
1.
On the "GX Works2", go to "Parameter" - "Network parameter" - "Ethernet/CC IE/MELSECNET,
then open the "Ethernet port" screen.
*The following procedure assumes that the user has completed the configurations such as I/O
settings of Ethernet Unit in advance. In this section, IP address settings and communication port
settings are described.

As shown in the figure below, configure IP address in the [Operation Setting], and
communication port in the [Open Setting].
