PLC Settings
For serial communication, setting for the communication unit [KV-L21V] needs to be done.
The following is a setting example with KEYENCE PLC maintenance tool, "KV STUDIO".
*The following procedure assumes that the user has completed the basic configurations on "KV
STUDIO".
A setting example of RS-232C port for communication is described below.
RS232C [KV-L21V] Port setting
1.
On the "KV STUDIO", go to "Tool" - "Unit Editor(U)", then open the "Unit Editor" screen.
2.
On the "Unit Editor" screen, select the serial communication unit [KV-L21V], then configure
parameter settings on the "Unit Setting" appeared on the right.
